Town Hall Building Committee · Meeting of June 12, 2026

Tisbury Town Hall Building Committee reviewed four options for a $10 million project. ICON Architecture presented cost estimates and design slides for renovation with temporary modular replacement, phased permanent modular at High Point, deferred maintenance, and leasing. The architects recommended against leasing, citing the absence of available space in Tisbury and determining that state prevailing-wage and bidding compliance would eliminate private-sector savings.

Committee members expressed strong interest in the Town Hall renovation proposal, believing it would be well-received by residents. The committee will present options to affected employees on June 24 and to the Select Board in a workshop setting in July.
