Tisbury Zoning Board approved a coffee shop special permit and deferred a boathouse relocation hearing. The board unanimously approved continued use of a coffee shop with outdoor seating at 15 Main Street, owned by Ayoung Cho, subject to six conditions including outdoor seating limited to 29 seats, prohibition on neon lighting and loudspeakers, and downward-facing outdoor lighting. In a second case, the board deferred the boathouse relocation at 40 Goethals Way, requesting Engineer Cody Coutinho to provide revised alternatives to address concerns about increasing an existing setback nonconformity by 2.3 feet.
The hearing continues June 11.
