Conservation Commission · Meeting of March 3, 2026
Tisbury Conservation Commission approved two waterfront projects at its March 3 meeting. The Commission unanimously approved a boat shed at 52 Mill House Way for MV Property Holdings, LLC with conditions requiring elevation to a minimum of two feet above grade and restricting materials to exclude composite products like Azek; Conservation Agent Sean Young recommended the elevation increase to allow sand dune migration and ground sunlight penetration. A negative determination was issued for an office addition at 40 Cronig Avenue, allowing the project to proceed without further wetlands review.
The Commission also continued a salt marsh mowing enforcement order for 30 Ashtons Way until April 21 to allow the property owner additional time for historical documentation and wetland consultant consultation.
