Tisbury Community Preservation Committee reviewed 2026-27 warrant articles and discussed state legislative changes. Administrator Heidi Dietterich and Chairman Paul Munafo reported on a December 18 Finance Committee meeting where FinCom questioned regional projects. The committee discussed proposed "Seasonal Community" legislation by State Senator Julian Cyr affecting Community Preservation Act rules, including increasing the income threshold for community housing from 100% to 250% of annual median income (raising the family-of-four limit from $153,300 to $383,250), increasing reserve fund balances from 10% to 30% for affordable housing, and allowing reallocation of historic and open space funds while adding water and wastewater infrastructure categories.
The committee set January 16 as the deadline for warrant article feedback and February 9 for annual plan submissions.
