TISBURY — The Tisbury Conservation Commission unanimously approved expansion of a commercial pier at 30 Beach Road, extending it from 134 to 158 feet in length and widening it by 6 feet. Engineer Reid Silva presented the plan; Owner Brad Abbott said the expansion would accommodate additional vessels and boats with deeper drafts. The commission also discussed increasing the Conservation Agent's hours from 24 to 40 per week (approximately $48,000), reviewed floodplain bylaw updates, required as-built plans for three Certificate of Compliance requests, granted administrative approval for MV Shipyard maintenance, and continued an enforcement order for salt marsh mowing at 30 Ashtons Way to March 24, 2026.
