Conservation Commission · Meeting of September 1, 2026
Tisbury Conservation Commission denied a Notice of Intent to rebuild an accessory dwelling unit at 662 Chappaquonsett Road on a 2-2-1 vote. Chair Thomas Robinson and member Lilian Robinson voted to approve with conditions; members John Best and Sarah Toste voted against; member David Reed abstained. Engineer Reid Silva's revised proposal reduced the unit footprint from 900 to 600 square feet but still raised coastal dune protection concerns.
The Commission unanimously approved vegetation removal at 31 Cranberry Acres Way and continued a timber pier hearing at 797 Main Street to September 15.
