Tisbury Finance and Advisory Committee backed eight zoning amendments and $50K in harbor spending. The committee voted unanimously March 25 to recommend the articles for town meeting April 28, including a $250,000 municipal remediation article and harbor grant matches ($5,000 current, $45,000 prior years). The zoning amendments addressed accessory dwelling units, special ways protections, land clearing restrictions, and other issues.
The committee voted unanimously to encourage the Select Board and Planning Board to mediate ongoing disputes over a Town Administrator Bylaw amendment rather than bring the matter to town meeting.
