Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of March 12, 2026

Tisbury's Zoning Board of Appeals approved four special permits at its March 12 meeting. Acting Chairman Michael Ciancio presided over unanimous votes to approve in-ground swimming pools at 35 Mount Aldworth Road and 54 Lake Street in the R10 District, each with conditions requiring sound-insulated equipment enclosures, dry wells, landscape plans, and as-built documentation. The board also approved outdoor seating for the Maker Pasta Shop and renewed a seven-bedroom bed-and-breakfast permit at 60 Mount Aldworth Road, amending the renewal to require management-change notification instead of biennial reapplication.

A garage-studio hearing at 46 Wood Chips Circle was continued to April 16 pending legal review and an April 28 town vote on accessory-structure plumbing.
